This old sea dog has been boating in the Hauraki Gulf for over 60 years and knows every rock pool and current. When he’s not restoring old boats or building new ones, he becomes the visionary and sounding board for the team.
Stuart Thomas

Stu grew up sailing in Wellington, so he knows how to weather a storm. He’s spent his entire career in the marine industry, skippering in Greece, working for Yachting New Zealand before joining the Hauraki Express team and taking it to another level.

George has always been a boating enthusiast and a highly respected fishing charter skipper in the Hauraki Gulf. Spending most of his days on boats and knowing them inside-out, he’s the man to help shape your dream motor yacht and take the hassle out of vessel management.
